On May 22-26, 2022, Davos, Switzerland hosted the annual World Economic Forum, which was attended by 2,500 delegates from 85 countries, including 50 heads of state and government. This year the forum was held for the first time in the spring. The main topic of WEF 2022 was "History at a Turning Point: Government Policies and Business Strategies".
"Davos 2022 is the most timely and consequential Annual Meeting since the creation of the Forum over 50 years ago" said German economist Klaus Schwab, founder and permanent executive director of the World Economic Forum in Davos since 1971.
The world’s political and economic leaders last met in the Davos Mountains in January 2020, and since then the world has changed beyond recognition.

In addition to the main forum, where meetings of political leaders and representatives of international organizations take place, the Davos forum is known for its so-called "side events".
They take place mostly on one of the streets of Davos, called the Promenade in the so-called "houses". These can be the houses of states and certain companies or organizations and associations.
These additional WEF 2022 events were held under such slogans as “Renewable Energy”, “Sustainable Development”, “Blockchain & Web3”, and of course “Peace for Ukraine”.

First of all, we should mention the house Polkadot. It attracted visitors like a magnet all the days of the Davos Forum.
The Polkadot hosted speeches by prominent representatives of the global Blockchain and Web3 industry, a space for networking and an interactive space for immersion in the decentralized world of Web3. One of the speakers was Jesse Morris, CEO of the Energy Web Foundation.
EWF has been one of our key technology partners in Decentralized Energy and Net Zero Economy for about 3 years. In particular, EWF technologies are used by us to develop digital blockchain platforms in joint projects with DTEK and SCM.
In addition to Polkadot, Circle and Filecoin should be mentioned. Also during the forum, three three-day conferences on blockchain were held.
One of the most influential publications in the financial world, the Financial Times, began a series of their events with the business breakfast "Unlocking the transformative potential of blockchain". By the way, Leonid Khatskevych was personally invited to this event.
