We will be hosting a two-day Workshop "Practical Blockchain Training" for Strathmore University students. Strathmore University is a chartered private University located in Nairobi, Kenya.

Dr. Joseph Sevilla- Director @ilabAfrica, Strathmore University mentioned, “I am happy about this collaboration and I look forward to the outcomes of these trainings which will provide the Kenyan market with highly skilled professionals in blockchain. We are also looking at partnerships with government institutions to help them solve local problems by implementing blockchain solutions.” 

Theory and practise

Theory will be about blockchain systems in general, cryptography and about Bitcoin protocol and Hyperledger Fabric, while practise will be about smart contracts. Students will have an option to choose between creating an Ethereum  ERC-721(NFT) or “Voting smart contract”.

Kenya and Ukrainian Blockchain Associations

Leonid Khatskevych, CBDO at 482.solutions, visited Africa with a business tour in 2019. Where he spent fruitful days meeting with representatives of the Blockchain Kenya Association with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Kenya.​ And as a result of the 482.solutions diplomatic mission, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Blockchain Association of Ukraine and the Blockchain Association of Kenya.
