The Ukrainian Startup Fund selected our project PyDEN-Electrodo under the EUREKA GlobalStars-Singapore Call

As we wrote earlier, 482.solution takes part in the EUREKA GlobalStars-Singapore Call with project Electrodo.

Electrodo is a trust ecosystem for neo-energy traceability and trading. We make Industry 4.0 possible by re-thinking energy with Electrodo.

In the joint Eureka’s R&D project 482.solutions (Ukraine) together with Pylon City (Singapore) will create a P2P Energy and Renewable Energy Certificates trading platform. This platform supports a sustainable living through accounting, digitization, and gamification of green energy consumption using blockchain technology.

PyDEN platform (product from Pylon City) uses the Electrodo ecosystem as a distributed digital infrastructure layer to build a platform for trustful and secure economic interactions and incentivization between property owners, tenants/occupants during generating, storing, selling, buying and consumption clean energy. Electrodo stores and manages data of energy economy agent profile or interaction in form of digital transactions.

As a part of the submission for the Eureka’s grant call, all project partners are required to submit a related application for national evaluation. From the Ukraine side such an authorized evaluation body is The Ukrainian Startup Fund.

On January 15, the Ukrainian Startup Fund held its 20th Pitch Day to select startups and EUREKA GlobalStars projects.

This event began with a salutation from Mykola Kyzym, the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine:

“EUREKA GlobalStars is an international initiative that enables teams of Ukrainian business, research institutions and universities to participate in a joint project competition between Singapore and 14 EUREKA member countries. Participation in this competition involved a two-level selection. Initially, the teams had to form their own consortium, consisting of at least two participants, one from Singapore and the other from one of the countries participating in the initiative. This barrier turned out to be the most difficult and not everyone overcame it: only three teams out of 33. Another member of the trio dropped out of the national selection stage, not gaining enough points to participate in today’s pitch.”

On this pitch stage, as participants of the international innovation program EUREKA Globalstars, we presented our project Electrodo.

According to the results of the Competition Сommittee’s assessments, our mutual Ukrainian-Singaporean project (“PyDEN 482.solutions”) gained the highest number of votes.

So the joint project 482 solutions and Pylon City received the support of the jury of the Ukrainian Startup Fund as part of the selection in the Eureka grant program.

After evaluation at the national level, a list from the country with a rating of participating projects is formed. It is submitted to the EUREKA Association for the formation of the overall ranking of the competition projects. According to this rating, a final decision on the winners of the competition and financial support will be made at a multilateral conciliation meeting between all national institutions of the EUREKA Globalstars initiative and representatives of the EUREKA program.

New year, new opportunities!
